There is a beautiful danger here.

A generation discovering its voice can mistake voice for authority.

A generation discovering inwardness can confuse feeling with truth.

A generation rediscovering relationship can weaken covenant in the name of authenticity.

Hence the requirement of bittul.

But the opposite danger exists too.

A generation can possess structures of Torah and fail to let Torah become inward.

Words can be correct and hearts untouched.

Institutions can stand and homes remain spiritually cold.

Halachic compliance can coexist with emotional blindness.

The answer is not less Torah.

It is Torah entering Malchus.

The commanded word becomes lived truth.

The structure becomes a home.

The mitzvah becomes a meeting.
